Reaching Out Occupational Therapy is committed to delivering customised and individualised services for our clients. To provide a clearer understanding of our focus, we specialise in the following areas:
Home Assessments
Review of the home environment and person's function to optimise their safety and independence throughout the home and during completion of their daily occupations.
Capacity Building
Ongoing therapeutic input to assist a person to achieve their goals.
We are able to and have experience working with people to increase their capacity in all areas of daily life,
(self cares, household tasks, community engagement, emotional regulation, job skills etc).
Functional Capacity Assessments
Full assessment and review of a person past, present and future functional ability (physical, cognitive & psychosocial) to determine the needs of the clients to assist with gaining access to the required supports.
Equipment Provision
Assessment and review of a person's functioning and limitations for the safe and independent completion of their daily occupations.
Provision and trial of required equipment to increase safety, independence and fulfillment of their goals. We have experience in provision of both low cost and mid-cost assistive technology devices for a range of presentations.
Home Modifications
Review and assessment of a person's function and the suitability of their home in facilitating safe and effective independence.
Making adjustments to the home to increase the person's access, self cares ect through implementation of minor and complex home modifications. We have extensive experience in Home Modifications with additional training and qualifications to be able to provide this service.

Reaching Out Occupational Therapy is dedicated to delivering high quality Occupational Therapy services to rural and remote communities.
Currently, we're on the move in Western Australia and are travelling to:

We also offer telehealth options for those in more distant areas.
We are flexible and open to discussing opportunities for additional regions throughout the South West, Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.
